Interesting Info About MSU...
There are an estimated 12,243 MSU alumni living in Macomb County. Of that, 869 are bona-fide members of the MSU Alumni Club of Macomb. Our members are active and retired professionals including physicians, attorneys, judges, accountants, veterinarians, educators, and leaders in business and government.
MSU Alumni Club of Macomb is the longest serving club in the nation. In 2006, we celbrated our 50th anniversary with a grand party where we were honored to have President Lou Anna Simon and other dignitaries as guests.
Fervent Spartans, our club's purpose is to organize activities and events that help to promote the excellence of MSU in the county, especially as we become a "world grant" university.
We maintain an endowment fund that anuually awards four scholarships of $1,000 to incoming freshman with excellent qualifications.

A Tailgate Party before the infamous MSU vs. U of M football game
A holiday party with proceeds dedicated to a worthy Macomb County charity
A picnic in June to honor our scholarship recipients and their families
A Golf Outing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base with proceeds dedicated to our scholarship fund.
